A standard eye test at Optmed Optometrist is $95. You will get a 45-minute eye test with one of our very experienced and friendly optometrists. Expect the highest level of personal service because we aim to give you the best eye test you’ve ever had!
We specialise in bringing the clearest vision through most accurate prescription in glasses. If you have concerns or ongoing troubles with your vision or spectacle prescription, we are experts in trouble-shooting these issues.
Our eye test room is equipped with state of the art equipment for diagnostic imaging including retinal fundus camera and OCT scan (which is the most advanced way of scanning retina, an additional $95 applies for OCT scan). We also have close working relationships with the top ophthalmologists and can refer you to the appropriate experts if needed.
At the end of the consultation, the optometrist will discuss your situation with you and answer any questions you may have and therefore you can make informed decision.

As a guide, our single vision lenses start from $172 and progressive lenses start from $230. If you are after thinner lenses with less-weight, the price is higher.

Yes! Prescription from outside is welcome. If you already have a regular optometrist who you are happy with. And if you’re looking for more unique eyewear here at Optomed, then we are more than happy for you to bring in your prescription from your optometrist.
And if you have any concerns about your prescription, or if you would like to update your prescription then we are happy to check your prescription before you go ahead for a new eyewear.
